The guideline includes a description of what safety data sheets are, the 16 sections it should include, and details of a competency assessment. The guideline is aimed to be used by trainers to ensure a consistent level of training as well as ensuring all aspects are covered. It is not intended as a self-learning tool. The guideline will need to be tailored to your workplace. As the guideline is editable it may also be added to include quality control and other non health and safety areas. This guide is limited to the reading of safety data sheets.
