Jacqui is an ACC auditor and judge of business and forestry excellence awards. With an academic background in business management specialising in occupational health and safety (OSH), as well as PhysEd and psychology, and over a decade’s experience working with small and medium size business developing and implementing OHS systems. She has a track record of bringing about culture change at all levels of the business.
Part of her professional career with ACC entailed working alongside WorkSafe NZ and business leaders to manage workplace risk and develop safety culture. With vast experience facilitating the management of OHS within high risk operations Jacqui’s approach is to add value to the whole of organisation by the development of competency, leadership, safety culture and risk management. Her approach is streamlined and pragmatic, focusing on critical risks in order to simplify health and safety and ensure harm prevention efforts are targeted to the most important areas.
Now as a member of the Institute of Directors, Jacqui is developing a specialist expertise in governance and currently holds a board internship role with the Forest Industry Safety Council (FISC).
